Founded by NCIDQ-certified interior designer Katie Teel, TeelSpaces has built a reputation for thoughtful design solutions that combine expert space planning, custom cabinetry, and careful material selections. Katie's years of experience and commitment to understanding each client's unique needs ensure that every project results in spaces that are not only beautiful but perfectly suited to how you live.
Meet Katie
As a Tulsa native, I briefly ventured to Tennessee to earn my Bachelor of Science degree from the FIDER-accredited Interior Design program at Middle Tennessee State University. After graduation, I returned home to work at an architectural firm in Tulsa, where I honed my space planning and interior design skills while earning my NCIDQ certification.
I originally created TeelSpaces to provide residential designs and furnishings for both new and existing homes. Over time, my clients helped me recognize the need to expand into contracting services, often asking me to guide them through the entire remodeling process from concept to completion.
When I'm not immersed in design details, you'll most likely find me at the barn with my horse, Conrad, or spending quality time with my husband and two children. My equestrian background undoubtedly influences my design aesthetic, inspiring my love for natural materials and colors, classic patterns, and an overall restrained rustic yet sophisticated approach. I believe in creating spaces that are casually elegant, comfortable, and designed with function at their heart.
